CHURCH. WHAT KIND OF IMAGE DO YOU GET?

Ballard Church may not be what you think of when you think of “Church.” Our services are friendly and very high-energy with excellent music and dynamic videos. We laugh a lot, and the messages are always applicable to everyday life. You’ll find people here who are friendly but not pushy, spiritual but not obnoxious, people who don’t take themselves too seriously, but want to make the most of life. If a church experience has never been a part of your life, consider visiting us! The dress code is: Wear some clothes!

CONNECT | GROW | SERVE

We try to keep church simple. That’s because we are ordinary people who simply strive to love one another, care about our community, and make a difference in this world. We want to be a place of grace because we understand that no one is perfect and everyone is “in process.” That’s why we have a “come as you are” environment. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey (or even if you are lost or confused about life) there is a place for you at Ballard Church. Our goal is for everyone to CONNECT with each other, GROW, in their faith, and SERVE with their talents. Come and see what BC is all about.

MEANINGFUL MESSAGES

If you can’t use it on Monday, we won’t say it on Sunday. Christianity was meant for real life. Pastor Paul and the team use humor and illustrations that have a unique way of making the profound become practical using the Bible as a guideline for the seasons of your life. And most importantly BC is all about JC. Because we are big on Jesus we try to keep the gospel message of Christ central in our teaching. We believe the message of Jesus is what changes lives and brings hope to the world.

GREAT MUSIC

In case you are into soft elevator music or slow jazz, we want to issue you a fair warning: at Ballard Church we like to rock out and we like it loud! No, we don’t have an organ at our church, and yes we do have subwoofers and amps. It may not be the kind of music you expected to find at church, but it’s powerful, passionate, and participative. Excellent music is one of the things that makes our services so impactful. It’s modern rock that we hope you will really enjoy. (and don’t worry, if you don’t like it loud we got you covered: when you come look for the basket of orange colored ear plugs in the back )

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

We love kids. As a result, we dedicate a lot of our time, talent, and resources to make sure our programs are the best they can be. We have a great facility for kids where they are sure to have a good time. We also have caring, a well trained staff, nurturing parents and dedicated volunteers who assure we offer programs where your children will have fun and learn important values.

GROUPS

Nothing feels better than belonging. Our goal is to help people make a connection through meaningful relationships. We have growth groups, activity groups, missions groups, and even play groups. These are all designed to create a safe and friendly, encouraging environment which makes it easy to get involved and meet new people. We believe that no one was meant to live alone, and life is better lived together in community and that is why groups are a big part of everything we do at BC. This fall we will be launching brand new groups for all ages. Check back for more info!
