Ballard Church is a BRAND NEW church in Seattle, WA that was launched on September 18th, 2011 by Paul and Gina Diaz and some friends and family (aka the launch team). Ballard is a vibrant neighborhood on the northwest side of Seattle that is home to tons of young people, young families, and working professionals. So far, the church has been growing consistently each week and has been engaging the community through various service projects and outreach.
This is not “church as usual” but instead we are trying to do SOMETHING DIFFERENT. We are trying to create a church that you actually like going to. BC is a great place for young people and families to connect with friends and meet new people. We launched the new Ballard Church in a huge 48,000 sq. ft building with tons of space for kids to run around and have a good time. Our services are casual and relaxed with great music from the band and meaningful messages that actually apply to your life.
COME AS YOU ARE. You don’t need to pretend or try to fake it. Just be real. Be yourself. It doesn’t matter who you voted for in the last election, what your story is, what doubts or struggles you have, this is a safe place for you to explore and get some answers. We believe church should be simple and not complicated. We know that church can be a scary place to go especially if you aren’t familiar with it. Our goal is to make Ballard Church a safe and normal place where you can fit in.
We want you to know that EVERYONE IS WELCOME here, regardless of your background or belief, or even if you have no church background at all. We are a group of normal folks who don’t claim to have it all together. We make mistakes and have struggles just like everyone else. That’s why we need God. We believe in a God who has the power to change lives and to help us through our problems.
Since we are a NEW CHURCH there is a lot of new people. It’s a great time to check us out since everyone else is brand new too. If you are looking for a new start or want to help us launch the Ballard Church we would love to meet you.
2 SERVICES! EVERY SUNDAY AT 9:15AM AND 11AM. Hope to see you at the service!
